WARCOLLAPSE
Deliberate Indoctrination
CD
Deliberate Indoctrination is a brutal sonic assault that solidifies WARCOLLAPSE as one of the pillars of Swedish crust punk. With 10 tracks totaling approximately 35 minutes, the album blends the speed and aggression of classic d-beat with dense, heavy passages, creating a suffocating and combative atmosphere. The production is raw yet clear, emphasizing the deep bass and saturated guitars, while the drums maintain a relentless cadence, sometimes frenetic, sometimes dragging, balancing tension and impact. The vocals are intense and desperate, alternating between ferocious screams and dark howls, conveying the fury of the lyrics that directly attack themes such as war, capitalism, and authoritarianism. Highlights like Projecting Their Power show compositional maturity, with over seven minutes of pure "TRUE STONER CRUST" that amplify the weight and depth of the album, while shorter tracks maintain the urgency and brutality of traditional crust. The album not only maintains the band's essence but expands its sonic palette with rhythmic and melodic variations, without losing its characteristic brutality. It's a work that reaffirms WARCOLLAPSE as a living and aggressive force, capable of translating revolt into heavy and visceral music, perfect for those seeking heaviness, message, and authenticity in crust punk. This is the band's fourth full-length album, and at the same time, it's the fourth release that Criminal Attack Records is proud to release from the band in Brazil (The Final End: 15 Years Of Misery And Despair, Deserts Of Ash, Bound To Die).
