Official re-release of the legendary second TERRORGRUPPE LP from 1996. For the first time ever re-pressed on vinyl, after the CD version was released remastered in 2007 via Destiny Records. From 1993 onwards, the TERRORGRUPPE had given the lame and loveless German punk of that time the march with three grandiose singles and with their debut "Musik fÃŒr Arschlöcher" in 1995 they proved that fun, politics, punk, provocation and snottiness can be combined well. 1996 saw the release of the second work “Melodien fÃŒr Billions” and this was where the band's commercial breakthrough began. With immortal hits like “The Rhine is dead”, the Chaostage classic “Weekend ticket”, “Forgotten names”, “Bar song”, “Died on the way to work” - you could pray the whole track list down. 18 songs - 18 hits. Perhaps one of the best and most essential punk records of the 1990s. The terrorist group spearheaded the zeitgeist between Chaostage, APPD, the punk revival of the early 90s and the increasing clashes with Nazis. “Melodies for Billions” got a new vinyl mastering from Andi Jung and a restored artwork. Appears as LP in 350g cover with 4-page comic booklet and download code.
