After the legendary first Toxoplasma record, things got quieter for the band until, from 1990 onwards, a new line-up hit the streets. After three albums, the band was in top form in 1994 with "Leben Forbidden" and - together with their debut - presented their best album to date. A cynical, but never resigned, personal and political commentary on the state of the nation, "Deutsch in Kaltland" the most apt description of the state of the leaden time. "Kein Platz zum Leben", "Stillstand", "All crazy", hit follows hit. Toxoplasma were a second time ahead of their time, far from all the dullness, arbitrariness and slogan of the 90s.
