"In the second half of the 90s, a new wave of bands playing fast thrashcore/powerviolence hc/punk, the so-called Bandana, or Bay Area thrashcore, emerged on the west coast of the USA, specifically in San Francisco, Bay Area (California). Bands like What Happens Next?, Life's Halt, Scholastic Deth gave roots to the movement based on D.I.Y. of ethics, of a life opposed to consumerist life, with an anti-authoritarian message, calling for global unity. This wave gradually hit Japan and other Asian countries, I definitely recommend bands like L.I.E., Flash Gordon, Crucial Section. Secret 7..., until she subsequently arrived in Europe, on the tour of band WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? in year 2003. After 20 years since this tour, this nostalgic memory of that time and perhaps also of the original values and message of furious thrashing hardcore/punk comes out. LICKSPIT are from the Czech Republic, a lineup of members of bands like Orban, Sheeva Yoga, Boiling Point and Carl Gut. Crazy fast fucking thrashcore with 10 tracks, the hit song is ""Fuck Off Hustle Culture"". NEGATIVE PATH are from Palermo, Italy, which has always been a mecca of quality furious hc/punk."
