After many concerts and a successful debut, CONTROL will be tightened in 2021! The postpunk/wave band from Solingen is releasing their second full album in the summer! “Two” promises “access to information” or at least insight? Some questions and comments about the situation of loss of control appear in the texts and artwork collages, but who has the answers and who has the authority to interpret? "Friday, We're In Love" in any case, whether in the "Badeanstalt" or at the "Minibar". Musically, the dark, hard post punk is even punkier, the 80s wave influence darker. Synthesizers, cutting guitars plus powerful drums, combined with urgent voices that can and must do everything from chanting to real singing to screaming. Control have been on the road successfully in this country since 2017, a demo cassette in 2018 (later remade on vinyl), the first album in 2019, which was "No Matter", but not on the label Holy Goat Records, which is now also pressing the successor. The track "Access To Information", the accompanying video as well as the upcoming remix by THE MARQUIS (recording + playback) are already on everyone's lips... er, eyes and ears! 11 more uncompromising songs form a German-speaking wave punk monster that shines with control-typical winks and continues and expands on the band's conceptual collage artwork by Andrew, Carsten and Daniel! “Stay calm”, people almost want control here...
