HANS-A-PLAST

AUSVERKAUFT

HANS-A-PLAST were founded in Hannover in 1978 and are still one of the outstanding and formative punk bands of the former FRG. In 1979, her first LP was released with the help of local independent label LAVA RECORDS, which features such brilliant songs as "Burn It", "Rock'n Roll Friday", "American" or "Man Of Stone". The album became a classic in a nutshell and was something of an inspiration for the still clichéd, cliché-free punk of the early 80s. Against all expectations, their debut was so successful that the band decided in 1980 to found their own label NO FUN RECORDS. Politically and lyrically, HANS-A-PLAST did not mince words, as in "Rank Xerox" (terrorist hysteria in the aftermath of German autumn) or in "police truncheons" about the same state power. Despite the fact that HANS-A-PLAST was one of the first punk bands to have a singer, the German-language texts primarily dealt with the man / woman role relationship, and it was also played very skillfully and provocatively, as in the titles: " Go away you stink "," Lederhosen type "," Monopoly "," For a woman "," I'm hungry "or" O, O, O ". The first, self-titled album is now being re-released as a limited and hand-numbered edition of 1000 copies in 180g vinyl, with the cover image as sticker and original booklet on COLTURSCHOCK.
