WOLFBRIGADE

Howl From Underground

LP

Black LP in a sleeve with spot-gloss finish, including an insert and download code. The amps are still warm from their explosive 2024 comeback album, *Life Knife Death*, when Swedish punk-metal veterans Wolfbrigade strike back like a wounded cobra—delivering their loudest, fullest, and most thunderous album to date. And this was no happy accident. For their twelfth LP (the first three were released under the name Wolfpack between 1996 and 1999), the quintet collectively decided to shake up their routine and question their usual way of working. "As the songs began to take shape, we decided to do something we hadn't done in many years," the band explains. "For the past decade, we’ve recorded, produced, and mixed our albums ourselves. This time, we wanted to work with someone from outside the band—someone whose work we admire and who we felt would truly understand what Wolfbrigade is all about." That role fell to Lawrence Mackrory—already a proven collaborator with bands like Meshuggah, Katatonia, Paradise Lost, and Bloodbath—at Necromorbus Studio, the converted Baptist church where Watain and Mayhem honed their occult chaos.
