At the center of the Early Graves sound is metalcore, but not the false "open drop-D" "chugga-chugga" variety; no flat-billed hats, basketball shorts, or designer Nikes here. Crust and thrash also do battle with the metalcore influences, but in the end, ferocity reigns supreme. You'd expect a record with this much venom to come from Feral Ward, Prank, Youth Attack or another label that specializes in the outer reaches of crust/hardcore. It's quite an achievement.
